All businesses have occasion to discard confidential data. Customers’ lists, price lists, sales statistics, drafts of bids, simple correspondence, and even memos, contain information about business activity which would interest any competitor. Every business is also entrusted with information that must be kept private. Employees and customers have the legal right to have this data protected.

Without the proper safeguards, information ends up in the dumpster where it is readily, and legally, available to anybody. The trash is considered by business espionage professionals as the single most available source of competitive and private information from the average business. Any establishment that discards without destroying private and proprietary data, is exposed to the risk of criminal and civil prosecution, as well as the costly loss of business.

We are pleased to offer this service, and ask that you consider at the same time, discarding any and all additional electronic waste recycling you might have: Computers, tablets, monitors, etc. are always free of charge.

To facilitate the onsite shredding process, Data Recycling of New England purchased the AMS 300HD dual head hard drive shredder, designed to shred hard drives, flash drives and thumb drives on one side and rotary hard drives on the other. Ours is truck-mounted, powered by a 10,000-watt generator, and equipped with a 4G camera and tablet for convenient  indoor customer viewing.

ABOUT THE DRIVE: 3HP, 208V – 3 Phase.

THE PROCESS-ACCOUNTABILITY & COMPLIANCE

To provide customer assurance and peace of mind, Data Recycling NE accounts for every hard drive, including documentation, as requested.

  • Some businesses require only a total count of hard drives submitted and processed This is cross-checked with the customers’ records for accuracy.
  • Hospitals, medical and other professional service offices have more stringent regulations, including HIPPA compliance. Data Recycling NE scans the serial number of every hard drive provided, submits it to the client for verification, and with approval of the document, proceeds with hard drive shredding.

We will discuss your specific needs when you call, in advance of the scheduled hard drive shredding at your location.

CONVENIENCE

Clients decide whether to watch the hard drive shredding process outside, at a safe distance, and weather permitting. We also provide a tablet to clients who choose to watch from the convenience of their offices; a camera captures the process for real-time of on-demand viewing.

Appliance Recycling

Data Recycling NE, Inc. is authorized to accept or pick up refrigerators (large and small), air conditioners, microwaves, stoves and most other Freon bearing or non-Freon bearing appliances. Our main purpose is to reduce the amount of solid waste that actually reaches the State contractor for disposal by either reusing or reselling these items. If the item cannot be reused, the Freon is then extracted by authorized technicians and properly disposed. Please call us for more details and a price quote for disposal. Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs)

We are among the largest recyclers of cathode ray tubes and electronics in Massachusetts. Our main goal is to reduce the amount of waste going into our landfills by recycling and/or reselling marketable items. This process allows us to offer you a very low cost on your disposal service.

Generally, we are able to recycle approximately 98.5% of the material that we accept. Material received daily ranges anywhere from a few thousand pounds to as much as 35 tons in one day. Although CRT’s and CRT related materials are the primary materials recycled, we also have federally certified technicians to recycle Freon related products such as refrigerators, air conditioners.
