E-Waste Recycling for Individuals
At Data Recycling of New England, we make it easy for individuals to recycle their unwanted electronics responsibly. While our services are primarily available in the Assonet area, we provide scheduled drop-off opportunities for residents to properly dispose of their old devices. Additionally, you can participate in our collection events where you can recycle electronics and help raise money for local nonprofits.
Services for Residents
Electronic Recycling Drop-Offs
We offer convenient drop-off services for your electronic waste. Schedule an appointment to safely dispose of your items, with disposal fees applicable for certain electronics. Our team ensures that all materials are processed responsibly, prioritizing resale and reuse wherever possible.
Secure Hard Drive Shredding
In addition to electronics recycling, we offer secure hard drive erasing or destruction. Certificate of Destruction (COD) available upon request. Fees may apply.
CODs provided at no charge for hard drives previously pulled from the device. If you have hard drives still in data containing devices that require the screen to be removed (Tablets, Computers with removable keyboards, iMacs, Phones, ect) there is a fee per item and a COD will not be available at time of drop off. A copy of the COD will be emailed to you after processing and shredding is complete.
Fundraising & Recycling at Collection Events
Even if you’re not in the Assonet area, you can still participate in e-waste recycling collection events! These events allow you to bring your old electronics and recycle them, while also helping to raise money for local nonprofits.

Schedule Your Drop-Off Appointment
Residents can easily schedule an appointment for electronic recycling drop-offs through our online booking system. Please note that disposal fees are applicable for certain items. Ensure to check the list of items and associated fees before scheduling your visit. Our team is here to assist you with any questions regarding the process.
