- Computers: We ask that your computers are “unmanaged” from your organization at the time of pick-up, enabling resale, and our continued ability to offer a discounted service
- Safety: Rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries for recycling should be left in the device. If the batteries have been removed, they will require special handling to prevent the possibility of a fire. Please cover the connectors with electrical tape or use an antistatic bag. These batteries should be kept together with no weight on top of them in a temperature-controlled room. If you have an expanded battery, it is best to contact call2recycle.org to dispose of these batteries properly.
- Availability: Make sure someone is available during time of pickup to help provide our drivers where and what items will be picked up.
- For Certificates of Destruction: Please be sure to print, review, and sign the pickup receipt before putting it with the hard drives or devices. This acts as a chain of custody document and alerts our drivers that a COD is needed.
